Due to some hang-ups with my German passport, we spent Pride 2012 in Chicago.
I’ve been to Cologne, Amsterdam, New York, Philly, Vegas, etc. as a child, but this was my first time as an adult in a big city other than Miami.
Let’s just say that Minneapolis feels a lot smaller now.
Naomi was gasping in amazement for most the trip. Especially downtown.

Takeaways from this trip:
- Minneapolis is a small town.
- We all need to work out more.
- It’s time to prepare for the next phase of my career.
Whether I’m moving depends on how quickly I get promoted at work, and how well I do on the GMAT. Currently eying Northwestern, UChicago, Stanford and Wharton’s MBA programs, but we’ll see.
