I finally made it to the Dallas World Aquarium!

My mother and I visited the Aquarium when she as in town because the weather was crappy and it was an indoor thing to do. The biggest surprise about the Dallas World Aquarium is that it’s not just fish – it’s actually a zoo, and very tropical.

The cages seemed a little small, particularly for the panther, bats, and flamingos. Perhaps this is the price animals pay for a lack of predators?

Tiny cages and small children aside, it was a fun trip. Plus, there were frozen margaritas!
