Downtown Miami

Madre and I took a walk through Little Havana to downtown today.

We were surprised that all of the stores were packed. The line at Ross was grotesque. The line actually went all the way to the back of the store and began creeping along the walls.

That picture is from the back of the store. Yep.

The stores in Little Havana are crammed with crap (that’s piled to the ceiling). Half the items are from South America, and the rest is from China. Cool religious candles, expired Coca-cola…

The worst thing about Miami is that the Ed Hardy trend is out of control.

Ed Hardy is to blame for those gaudy faux-tattoo truck hats. The ones with the rhinestones, hearts, and skulls…

Well, we’ve taken that trend too far. Ed Hardy knock-off designs are now on chucks, dresses, baby clothes, and yes…underwear.

Yes the crotch says “Rock.”

And yes, the vajayjay says “Kills.”

And I’m going to leave that alone.

The trucker hat trend should die a quick and painful death.

Haha. The design has moved to everything.
