This is the summer of Lake Calhoun.
There are several lakes in a chain near downtown Minneapolis. I prefer Lake of the Isles during the winter because it is less busy than Calhoun, Cedar lake is better for roller skating and quieter dog walks, and lake Harriet is a nightmare of gnats and strollers that I avoid.
I’m constantly at the lakes, even when I have rice-socks pressed against my face. The dogs love it. I love it. RuPaul loves it. Hopefully I can keep this up during the semester.
