Christmas shopping season means that the Mall of America is insufferable on the weekends. At least the decorations are pretty:
The Microsoft Store finally opened at the mall.
I expected more. The customer service is underwhelming and turns me off to the entire store.
I have been to the Microsoft Store twice and each time I was not greeted at the door and I had to hunt down a salesperson to ask a question. That’s unacceptable given that the Apple store is across the hallway and their service is always superb, if not a little stalkerish.
Step it up, Microsoft.

November 29, 2010 at 8:41 amI’ve always received poor customer service at the MOA Apple Store. I’ve made one exchange and been present for three friends’ purchases. Every time, my “getting help strategy” has resorted to picking up expensive floor models and holding them in precarious positions until someone rushes over to prevent me from breaking it.

November 29, 2010 at 9:17 amThat just made me snort.
Even if it’s more so you don’t steal anything, you’ll eventually get noticed at the Apple store…whereas at the MS store it’s feels like I have to make a cry for help to get service…they are way more concerned with talking to little old ladies shopping for the grandkids.

We went to the Microsoft store last wkd and was a total baaaaahhhther to the sales guy. I spose it didn’t help that our 2 year oils was dripping the cheese from auntie annes on thei beautiful new floors.
Or the fact tht I’m a total apple baby.
