Bits and Pieces: Lake Calhoun

There are some typical scenes on my dog walks such as the frozen lake:

Lake Calhoun

…and the geese over-population problem:

Lake Calhoun

But there are several less-mundane scenes, like the bridge crashes and random blood on the snow:

Lake Calhoun

And even political statements in the porta-potties:

Lake Calhoun

Tell me how you really feel.

Much more common situation is running into a classmate (which is fun because the dogs love the attention) or awkwardly getting hit on. That happens less now with the cold, which thankfully keeps the creepers away. I guess I’m safe till spring.

And the blood is why you never go to Lake Calhoun at night! And you know the creepers will find you, I’m pretty sure they’ve placed a homing chip on you at some point, because their power to zoom in on you within minutes is uncanny.
