Halvers dragged took me to see Labyrinth at the Uptown Theater.
It was my first time watching the movie. It was alright, but I could have done without the theater full of shouting costumed hipsters.
I also got to apply some random knowledge from my undergrad art history minor – the monster puppets in Labyrinth look a lot like the demons in Pieter Bruegel the Younger’s paintings. See? That totally justifies the $8,000 cost of that Early Modern Dutch Art History class.
