A Quiet New Year’s Eve

I was in bed well before midnight on New Year’s Eve.

I had a fabulous time going out with my neighbors the day before. We went to Dish, BJ’s, and Pegasus bar, among other places.

After partying it up on December 30th, I decided to decline the New Year’s Eve invites.

I spent my day working while eyeing loops of the Dubai hotel fire on CBS News. I then gave my apartment the deep clean which I should have done before my mother came to town for the holidays.

So I fell asleep before midnight and started 2016 feeling refreshed with a fabulously clean apartment.

Thanks to the lack of a hangover, the dogs and I went on 14 miles worth of dog walks today, much to the annoyance of my Fitbit friends.

I also decided to take the dive and sign up for the Showtime add-on for Hulu so I could watch Billions and Penny Dreadful, which is basically a Victorian version of American Horror Story.

Not a bad way to start the year.
