I spend my mornings speaking with the President of the United States, afternoons covering up scandals for Washington D.C.’s most powerful politicians, and end my days drinking out of outrageously sized wine glasses.

Only one of those things is true.

After watching ABC’s Scandal one evening, I finally committed to buying Olivia Pope wine glasses.

These glasses are the “Camille Wine Glasses” from Crate + Barrel.

I picked my glasses up from the Knox & Henderson store, which is near the Ratchet Triangle Pegasus Bar, Zippers, etc. They are also available online.

The trip to the Knox Crate + Barrel was totally awkward.

I arrive at Crate + Barrel in the middle of the day (on my lunch break) while wearing a law school T-shirt and flip flops. The store is mostly empty besides a few housewives, and they all glare at me as if I am some crazy hobo that wandered into the store looking to mug somebody.

Luckily I find a queen bearish guy to help me – he knows exactly where the Camille wine glasses are and walks me to them.

I scoop up 5 of the glasses and wait in the checkout line, where I yet again get the stank eye from another elderly housewife.

It’s my turn, and I hobble up with my glasses.

Gay Cashier: “Ah, a Scandal fan, I see.”
Me: “I AM A GLADIATOR IN A SUIT!”
Gay Cashier: “…suits look different.”

Me:

At least I tried.
