Saturdays in Dallas

The Trinity River bridge in Dallas.

We had an extremely busy Saturday.

We took a 12-mile walking tour of the city with the dogs. I was exhausted afterward, but had a hilarious time.

The Puppy

The morning started at Starbucks, where we ran into an adorable chocolate lab puppy.

Ingrid is only about a year old now, but the lab puppy made her seem like a gigantic monster.

We then headed to the Design District, where we passed the Playboy Marfa statue and randomly ran into one of our favorite bartenders in at a car rental place.

The wings

We finished our coffee at the bridge, and headed downtown to Wing Bucket, one of our new favorite restaurants. Wing Bucket is like a low-cost Buffalo Wild Wings with better music, and cheaper beer prices.

Pitchers are usually on sale for $9, and premium pitchers aren’t that much more.

After stuffing our faces, we headed back to Oak Lawn via the Harwood District and Katy Trail. Luckily, this time we did not run into any of the vicious stray cats that infest the trail.

Tennis time

Our next trip was to the tennis courts by our house.

The courts were packed, so we headed back after waiting around for about 20 minutes.
