One of the closest LGBT spaces near my apartment is a gay-owned brewery called Red Bear Brewing Co.
Red Bear’s regular events include a bimonthly bingo and drag show event that goes from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. The show is hosted by local drag superstars Desiree Dik and Bombalicious Eklaver.
I rarely leave the office before 6:30, so I usually just go to hang out with friends. I am also not really competitive at Red Bear bingo because unlike gay bingo in Minnesota, the Red Bear games aren’t for money.
Last week, we were treated to some really interesting Dragula-esque looks for the Halloween show. My favorite was this Gaga moment from Desiree, pictured above.
Red Bear will have a drag competition tomorrow, and then the next drag bingo event is Tuesday, Nov. 12 (Which I’m missing, because I’ll be back in Dallas!) 🐎
