We recently went to the Lyn Lake festival in Uptown Minneapolis.
The bands were fun, albeit way too loud, and I made friends with a charming bartender at the Herkimer. I also had my first Arepa, which is like a Venezuelan gordita. Oh, and chips. Lots of chips.
The dog owners did get on my freaking nerves however:
I hate when dog owners bring their pets to super crowded events just to show off – especially when the dogs are obviously uncomfortable with the crowds. There were so many people dragging their dogs through the festival and it was just uncomfortable seeing people put their pets through that ordeal. My dogs, obviously, stayed home.
