I almost didn’t take the dogs to the Minnehaha dog park because it started raining, but I know they love it too much to pass it up.

Something went wrong during this morning’s drive. I looked down while driving on Highway 62 and I was covered in in coffee. One of the coffee cups was partially collapsed and I was pretty convinced that I should not be driving. The coffee cups looked pretty rough when I got into the office.
So Tader’s mother gave him a cooking pot. It is the largest pot we have and I use it frequently since I am the primary cooker in our house. This pot became a bit of a nightmare.
I recently got a new pair of glasses at the Look + See Eye Clinic in Old St. Anthony Main. Behold!
Sigh. Naomi and I get into so much trouble downtown.
We finally went to Lake Minnetonka just in time for the last of the fall colors.
Ugh. Being sick isn’t green.
Okay, so this is the best picture I could get from my car. Ignore the freaked out cyclist.
I redesigned my cubicle at work!
We decided to finally paint our bedroom. It was a rather long process.
I decided to skip the dog park today and took the dogs on a road trip to Rochester, Minnesota.
This was my first time in Rochester and the trip gave me flashbacks to my years in Kansas.
You know something’s wrong when…
The leaves around Minneapolis are turning orange again and I actually bought a pea coat, this fall thing is mighty real.
Some of us are less amused than others.
What a long evening. First Kristin and I went to Brianna’s housewarming party, then to Halver’s birthday party at his home, and then to Kristin’s birthday party at Lyle’s Liquor Lounge. After Lyle’s, Kirk and I went to the Gay 90’s and ended the night at the Saloon. I came home, walked the dogs, and went to bed.
Harley knows that he’s not allowed to go on the couch. He occasionally sneaks up when I leave the house briefly but most of the time he lurks around the edges of the couch.
I hate getting mail. I wish it would stop.
So we finally went to Psycho Suzi’s Motor Lounge!
Psycho Suzi’s is a restaurant near our new apartment in Nordeast Minneapolis. I started hearing good things about the restaurant within a few weeks of moving to Minneapolis. Tader and I tried to go several times but we were deterred by the chaotic parking situation.
We recently mustered the gumption to battle (literally) for a parking space. I am glad we finally made the trip because Psycho Suzi’s is hilarious. The restaurant has several bars and a kitschy tiki theme that reminds me of the Flintstones for some reason. And there was the volcano drink…
Besides this week’s Microsoft Store drama, things were profoundly uneventful this week. I now know why middle aged people are fat – all I want to do after work is drive home, walk the dogs, eat fattening things, and go to bed. That’s all.
It’s terribly frumpy but I do not care.
