Fall is here, and the days are getting colder and shorter — so of course I purchased a Hawaiian shirt for Gunter.
The shirt arrived for the last warm week of the year, so it wasn’t a complete waste of $10. However now that it’s cooler, I get side-glances when he wears it. I guess the difference between “cute” and “kitschy” is only 15 degrees.

Gunter also has various sweaters and coats, so it’s a pop of color for his fall outfits (not that he cares.)
Meanwhile, Ingrid is big and furry enough that she cannot be bothered with clothes. Plus having two matching dogs would officially push me into “crazy dog gay” a.k.a. spinster territory. I should try to avoid that for at least a few more years.
Or maybe not. 🐾
