Here’s what I’m talking about today.
1. Jesper Jenset: I came across this artist on Soundcloud and I just assumed that everyone knew who he was. (Apparently not!)
His name is Jesper Jenset, he’s from Norway, and this song is straight 🔥🔥🔥
2. Aleppo: It’s getting worse.
The U.N. is calling the Syrian government bombing of Aleppo “a possible war crime” although that can be said for many incidents in the Syrian civil war.
The Syrian conflict has been an ongoing horror story for the past few years. Many news organizations only cover it in passing because it’s hard to get people interested in the same “everything is awful” story when your country has no interest in fully intervening.
We have been pretty good about posting wire stories when major changes happen however.
3. South Korea: Still a circus.
A sideshow has appeared in the country’s presidential impeachment saga: President Park Geun-hye apparently failed to show up to the country’s 2014 ferry disaster because she was getting some plastic surgery done.
If you’re going to be involved in corrupt influence peddling, you might as well look fly while doing it.
4. Argentine hackers: Are elite. Motherboard has a fascinating look at how Argentina’s political crisis gave rise to hacker culture in the country.
Tonight
Here’s what’s going on in the gayborhood tonight:
