Minneapolis gays and hipsters

When I first decided to move to Minneapolis, I had to convince my to Miami friends that I wasn’t moving to some god-forsaken frontier outpost.

But Minneapolis has arrived! We are finally known for something other than Prince and stuff collapsing.

Minneapolis is apparently “the new gay” (aka the gayest city in the country) and Minnesota is the most hipster state in the US.

The nice thing about the hipster culture is that you can bike and shop organic without looking like a loon. The café culture is also amazing.

Sure, there are the ratty earthy hipsters and people who take their annoying neon frames way too seriously, but they only add to the hilarity.

The video of Minneapolis gays is also pretty accurate. Although you have lurid digs and raunch in every city, Minneapolis gays tend to be more in the yuppie vein, despite their dating inadequacies.

In short, this is one of the best places to be a gay yuppie and I love it once it thaws.
