The library became annoying around 8am so I walked to my ConLaw class (which starts at 9am.)
There was already someone in the room when I arrived, so I felt less like “that kid who arrives an hour early” and more like, “one of those kids who arrive an hour early.”
Since I was in the wrong room yesterday, I asked the student, “This the correct room for Con Law right?”
Other student: “Yep! ConLaw I. Where you here yesterday? I missed because I had an interview.”
Me: “Yes I was.”
Other student: “Did he go over the Marbury case?”
Me: “No, she went over the DC Gun ban.”
Other student: “She? Gun ban?”
Me: “Yes, Kitrosser is a woman.”
She checks her schedule.
Other Student: “Actually, I’m the one in the wrong room! I’m actually in SoandSo’s class! ”
She leaves…and I become that boy again. Drats!

Silly Little Law Student
September 5, 2008 at 10:01 pmIf there’s a common area in the law school…. like a lounge or something…. hang there before class and you won’t be “that guy” who’s in the classroom an hour early 🙂

…although that happened in class too once people started coming in.
