Alesus, the dogs, and I encountered a rocky patch on the dog walk.
The rocky patch was at the mouth of the Mississippi trail waterfall near campus.
There was some sort of dredging operation going on which left a large water-filled crater in the middle of the trail.
The crater didn’t connect to the river, so it was easy (although muddy) to get around the construction. Well, for most of us anyway. There was a hobo on a bike who ended up falling into the pool of water. I couldn’t figure out how that happened, and Alesus almost collapsed with laughter after the hobo crawled out of the water and continued on the trail. Drunk biking?
