There’s a Civil War statue near the Cathedral of St. Paul.
I completely ignored the statue the first few times because I was too busy staring at the church, but one day I stopped to take pictures.

The statue is by Minnesotan sculptor John K. Daniels and is called the “Soldiers and Sailors Monument.”
The monument is a the likeness of Josias R. King, the first Minnesotan to volunteer for the war.
