I live on the edge of downtown Minneapolis, where there is a two-story Target approximately a quarter mile from my apartment.
And yet I always end up in the suburbs.
I stopped shopping downtown ever since I got my car. The threat of traffic, construction, crazy hobos, and parking is just too much. I rather hop on the highway and drive 4 more miles to the burbs. It’s not green, but it is a whole less stressful.
