Here’s what I’m talking about today.
1. Jesper Jenset: I came across this artist on Soundcloud and I just assumed that everyone knew who he was. (Apparently not!)
His name is Jesper Jenset, he’s from Norway, and this song is straight 🔥🔥🔥

While most of my friends love Apple Music or Spotify, I am an avid Soundcloud user.
Soundcloud is a Berlin-based audio platform. The long DJ-sets on the platform have provided the soundtrack to my workdays for years now.
I started a little Soundcloud experiment last spring which consisted of producing a weekly 10-song playlist. Twenty-five weeks later, the weekly digital mixtapes have caught on with some of my friends and provided me with an interesting music time-capsule.
Although there were no Lemonade-style watch parties, The Odyssey is still pretty interesting. There are a lot of grimy Los Angeles scenes, and an unexpected trek to rural Scotland.

It’s all about Katy B right now. Actually, most of the top 20 songs for me right now are from England. Weird times.
Track list after the jump.
Nick suggested that if I ever did drag, that I should perform Janelle Monae’s “Cold War.” That song is alright, but this is my drag top 10:
Ableton arrived! I had to fetch it from the FedEx facility in the far-flug northern suburbs, but it’s here.
No, I haven’t ignored your tweets about the next boomkat list…I’ve just been, well, forgetful. Blame finals.
But it’s summer, and I’m back on it. Here are the top 20 songs of the moment, according to me:
