While some of my friends spent Saturday evening in the law library, I was at the MCAD gala drinking wine and watching the governor bid $11,000 for a painting of a girl swimming. Post-law school life is kinda awesome.
The week was filled with less glitzy events like dog walks, work and three trips to the Microsoft Store. My new laptop starting having black-out seizures so I had to drop it off (again) for repairs. I picked my laptop up on Friday but didn’t unpack it until Saturday when I realized that they sent me home with the wrong power cord.
So I go to Mall of America to fetch my power cord. Not only is it a busy Saturday, but it is also the busiest day of ScrapFest, the frumpiest event in America. The entire mall is dominated by scrapbooking workshops and a hoard of soccer moms with Nancy Grace bobs. It is mighty intense.
They probably think twitter and foursquare are intensely dorky, so I won’t give the Cheryls too hard of a time.
This week was also a great success because I made it to all of my weight training sessions at LA Fitness. I porked out a little during the weekend – something about a epic bar hopping night with James, Ben, Paul and Aaron – but that’s a first world problem isn’t it?
