What a busy two weeks. Harley and I are both exhausted. Him more so:
It’s that dirty, muddy time of the year when the temperature struggles to consistently stay above freezing.
But that means warmth, longer dog walks, and re-exploring the city.
Oh, and potholes.
Spring also marks high gas prices and my lackluster return to the dating scene because Halvers and I broke up. The relationship ended on good terms – which is that unsatisfying PR line that makes your eyes roll when you hear it from a celebrity couple,…but what if it’s true? Sorry. Next time there will be dish breaking and alarm ringing. I swear.
This is also my spring of renewed effort. For a while I’ve glared at my apartment and blamed it for being old, but then I decided to spruce things up a bit. I tackled everything with Lysol and serious scrubbing, bought a new vacuum made for dog owners, a shower caddy, and gasp! Things look amazing. Clean all things!
And of course that translated to a renewed interest in healthy eating, working out, school work, und, und, und, and all I needed was the temperature to stay above freezing. Who knew?
