One of the best parts of corporate tax law is professor A’s asides:
Professor A: “Let me apologize if I appear meaningless and rambling today. I had to get up at 4am to catch my flight and I’m not sure if I know what the hell is going on.”
And he doesn’t hesitate to reuse outfits:
Professor A: “I don’t usually dress up this much to class but I wanted to show you guys what I wore to last night’s banquet!”
A warning:
Professor A: “If you think I’m a horribly boring tax nerd, just wait to meet a consolidated return regulations expert! They make me look like a clown. It’s terribly complicated stuff. So if you get the opportunity to go a conference on consolidated return regulations, think twice!”
And my estate planning professor described a lovely forest marriage…
Professor Q: “Marriage is more than just love. If love was all there was, then you and your beloved could go into the woods and pledge yourself to the stars, with the rabbits and squirrels as your witnesses…”
