Winter smacked down during these past two weeks.
I enjoyed one last day at the lake and then Minneapolis got a foot of snow in an epic snow storm.
There was a lot of shoveling, but the snow storm was not as bad as last night’s ice storm. This wetness on the sidewalk is solid ice:
I’m surprised that I did not break my leg or dramatically fall to the floor virgin-vogue style. The upshot of the ice is that there is nothing funnier than the dogs sliding on it.
They are not as amused as I am:
Life feels very full. It’s like an overstuffed pillow that is comfortable but probably testing the stitching: daily walks around the lake with the dogs, work, school, the gym, sexual harassment, dancing, and some hilarious dates.
The lull in the semester makes me feel like I’m wasting time, but I’m not sure how much of this is actual bumming around and how much of this is me being used to a law school pace of work. I only have two days of school this coming week. Hopefully I can rally myself into productivity. I’ll be the finisher of papers, the drafter of Tax Court Petitions, the healthy eater….
Hide your kids, hide your wife, because I’m ending my last semester of law school with a bang.
Earlier: The Jugs.
