I spend a lot of time on campus due to the gaps in between my classes and the various special events, but I try to avoid the West Bank (where the law school is) because of the depressing communist-chic architecture:
Although the exception to the communist-fug is the Carlson business school. Carlson is the gem of the West Bank and far more festive than the law school:
The business school’s Hanson Hall also houses the only full-service Starbucks on the West Bank, which has a sweet patio that provides a glamorous view of the Stacks:
Most of my extended studying takes place on the East Bank however, at the Walter library. The vaulted ceilings never get old. Behold:
Be still my heart.
