I’m at that stage in life where several of my friends are buying houses and condos.
New condos are everywhere around downtown and interest rates are low, but I’m not convinced. Would I really want a condo by the mills?

Harley’s got swag.
Someone discovered how to get into the trash.
I know something is wrong when he’s hiding under Tader’s desk.
I almost didn’t take the dogs to the Minnehaha dog park because it started raining, but I know they love it too much to pass it up.
I went to middle school in Kansas. We had no air conditioning and plenty of girls with cheap weave that constantly fell out. The weave formed balls that traveled the hallway floors every time the doors were propped open for ventilation. We called this tumble weave.
I am glad that Minneapolis carries on that tradition.
Something went wrong during this morning’s drive. I looked down while driving on Highway 62 and I was covered in in coffee. One of the coffee cups was partially collapsed and I was pretty convinced that I should not be driving. The coffee cups looked pretty rough when I got into the office.
So Tader’s mother gave him a cooking pot. It is the largest pot we have and I use it frequently since I am the primary cooker in our house. This pot became a bit of a nightmare.
I recently got a new pair of glasses at the Look + See Eye Clinic in Old St. Anthony Main. Behold!
Sigh. Naomi and I get into so much trouble downtown.
Ugh. Being sick isn’t green.
I redesigned my cubicle at work!
The leaves around Minneapolis are turning orange again and I actually bought a pea coat, this fall thing is mighty real.
Some of us are less amused than others.
So we finally went to Psycho Suzi’s Motor Lounge!
Psycho Suzi’s is a restaurant near our new apartment in Nordeast Minneapolis. I started hearing good things about the restaurant within a few weeks of moving to Minneapolis. Tader and I tried to go several times but we were deterred by the chaotic parking situation.
We recently mustered the gumption to battle (literally) for a parking space. I am glad we finally made the trip because Psycho Suzi’s is hilarious. The restaurant has several bars and a kitschy tiki theme that reminds me of the Flintstones for some reason. And there was the volcano drink…
Working from home means that I have to deal with bored dogs all day.
I wrote about my distain of most spray painted “name-tag” graffiti and my love of Uptown sticker art, but here’s a new idea:
Yarn bombing. The word(s?) HOTTEA are written all over Minneapolis in string. There are posts about HOTTEA at Mplsart and Colossal. Unurth also has posts about HOTTEA here and here.
Yarn bombing is probably still illegal although it causes no damage to public property besides the occasional moldy piece of old string. I think we should get a fence around our new apartment just so I can write something fun in string.
I think someone is over summer.
I am not religious, I don’t generally don’t ridicule people who are, but…
