I go there. They have a better selection (of mystery books) than B&N, actually know what is on their shelves, and have staff that have read the books (!!).
Ah, so it’s a matter of service/staff knowledge. Hm. Might check it out after I finish Don DeLillo’s Underworld…that’s been on the backburner for the past three years.
There’s a science fiction bookstore near where I used to live that I’d go to over Barnes and Noble for the same reason as Laura. They had a much better selection and I could just browse for hours or just randomly pick a book out and it was good. I actually prefer stores like that to Barnes and Noble who tend to have only the most recent book of any series and half of the time don’t have the one I’m looking for.
