No class before Thanksgiving

Empty library, classroom, or office by Sarah Babineau via Stocksnap

Professor H noted that we look stressed, and that stressed law students are typical for November.

She then addressed our Thanksgiving schedule:

Professor H: “I really hate scheduling a 3:30 p.m. class on the day before Thanksgiving because first of all, a third of you won’t show up, and then the rest of you will be really surly and crabby with me for making you show up. So class canceled!”

FTW.

Our property professor cancelled, so I’ll only have one day of classes Thanksgiving week.

I’ve never had class the week of Thanksgiving – in college or in law school – apparently, they used to just give students the day of and the day after off, but eventually they expanded it to the day before, and then the entire week because no one would come to class anyhow.
