Professor B’s exam tips

Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C.

Professor B. recently discussed what to expect on the final exam, and how we can improve our grades:

Professor B: “It’s important to follow the instructions of the exam. When faced with 100 exams, I lose all humanity. So I terrorize you.”

Professor B: “If you get the answer right for the wrong reasons — so be it! Better to be lucky than smart.”

Professor B: “Unless you really are a moron and make it painfully clear you’re a moron in class (which never happens) I won’t lower your grade based on class participation.”

She also provided some advice for interpreting cases.

Professor B:  “Don’t look for consistency in these cases — the government and taxpayer are two-faced. They are just going to argue whatever gives them the best numbers.”
